The quadrennial acitivities report 2008-2012 of the IGU-Commission "The Cultural Approach in Geography" has been approved by the secretary general of the IGU, Mike Meadows.
Download the full report here. The report forms the basis of the IGU executive committee’s decision regarding whether the Commission should continue or not; this decision will be taken in August 2012 at the IGC in Cologne. In case of continuation, the Commission will coordinate its future activities with the programme and the objectives of the IGU Initiative for a UN International Year on "Global Understanding".
